CapyQuest TCG was founded by Jack, a longtime collector and Magic: The Gathering player who grew up around collectibles and returned to the hobby with a much stronger focus in 2022.
Like many collectors, Jack saw how difficult it could be to find desirable TCG products locally—especially at a fair price. CapyQuest TCG was built around a simple idea: make it easier for collectors and players to get the products they actually want, with clear information, reliable service, and pricing that makes sense.
Today, CapyQuest TCG is an Irvine, California-based trading card retailer focused primarily on factory-sealed Magic: The Gathering products, along with Pokémon and other collectible trading card games.

Orders are fulfilled from Southern California, and local customers can also choose pickup from our dedicated retail pickup area in Irvine.
Where We're Going
Our goal is to build CapyQuest TCG into a trusted destination for sealed trading card products—especially Magic: The Gathering.
We want to grow into a major online sealed TCG retailer while keeping the things that matter most: fair pricing, transparent information, dependable products, and the kind of service we'd want to receive ourselves as collectors.
And the name?
“CapyQuest” combines two longtime favorites: capybaras and Quest for Glory, one of Jack's favorite games growing up.
